As CEO and Designated Managing Broker of Caton Commercial Real Estate Group, Christina Caton Kitchel leads a family-owned firm that has grown into one of the Chicago area’s trusted names in commercial real estate while maintaining the hands-on, client-first approach that defines it. She doesn’t just set the direction for the firm; she’s in the deals, working alongside clients from the first conversation to the final closing.
Her specialty is retail, but her strength is seeing the whole picture. Having represented landlords, tenants, developers, and municipalities, Christina understands what every party needs from a transaction and how to move deals forward. Her experience spans site selection, lease negotiations, investment sales, ground-up development, asset repositioning, and municipal approvals.
That range is reflected in the clients who trust her, including Dunkin’, BG Hospitality Group and its Gia Mia restaurants, Two Bostons, Paramount Theatre, the City of Aurora, and James & Sons.
Under her leadership, Caton Commercial brings brokerage and property management together under one roof, giving clients an integrated real estate partner from strategy through execution.
Christina is equally invested in the communities Caton serves. She previously served as Chair of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2020-2022) and currently serves as Chairman-Elect of the Naperville Development Partnership. She is also an active ICSC member, CCIM candidate, and supporter of KidsMatter, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth across DuPage and Will counties.
